The Convenience and Savings from Online Shopping

Have you tried shopping online? If no, you got to try it for its convenience but control yourself or else you’ll have empty pockets, wallets and bank accounts LOL! For those who are “suki” in online shopping, what are your favorite shops? When looking for good deals, I visit Philippine group buying sites which are very popular nowadays. My favorites are Deal Grocer, Ensogo, Cash Cash Pinoy, Deal Dozen and Groupon. What I usually get from these sites are hair rebonding services, photobooks, ... [ Read More ]

ATC Summer Camp 2014 Arts & Crafts Session 4: Farmland

It was the last day of ATC's 2014 Summer Camp for Arts & Crafts and the kids wished it doesn't have to end. Check out here Session 1, Session 2 and Session 3 to know all the fun activities they did. For the finale project, they made their own Farmland :) The first thing they did were the three (3) mini sheeps. Cotton balls were used for the body and while black cartolina cut-outs for the head and legs. Two yellow ducks were also made but I wasn't able to take photos of ... [ Read More ]

ATC Summer Camp 2014 Arts & Crafts Session 2: All About Animals

The second session of ATC's 2014 Summer Camp for Arts and Crafts was all about animals. It started with a short warm up with the kids by singing songs about animals. The young and energetic teachers got the excited kids engaged with the songs which made them look forward more to the projects they will be doing. On that day, there were 4 projects to choose from: 1) Draw Your Own Barn My daughter Kelsea and her cousin Charles chose this first activity. Here, the kids showcased their ... [ Read More ]

Baking Supplies at Kitchen Elf

If you're a homebaker living in the South (particularly Cavite, Las Pinas and Alabang), have you visited Evia in Daang Hari Rd? There are a lot of new commercial establishments now (a big mall is currently on-going construction) and one of them is Kitchen Elf. From our place, I think this is the nearest one which offers a wide range of baking supplies. It is located at the back of Rustan's Fresh, particularly beside Powerbooks. The staff said that they opened a long time ago. I wonder why ... [ Read More ]

Maleficent: Is there such as thing as true love?

Do you believe in fairy tales? Is there such thing as true love? I'm very familiar with the stories of the classic ones like Cinderella, Snow White and Beauty and the Beast except for Sleeping Beauty in which I only have a vague memory of its storyline. I can't even remember the name of the villain queen until now when Disney came up with a live-action film entitled Maleficent featuring Angelina Jolie.  Photo credit So when we watched Heaven is For Real last April and saw the Maleficent ... {Workshop} The WAHM 101: How to Be a Work-at-Home-Mom

I've been a full-time work-at-home mom (WAHM) for 3 years now and I'm happy I chose this path despite the many challenges I encounter every week just to meet my 40-hr per week work load. I've been sometimes thinking what it feels like to have a stay-in househelp to do the cleaning, cooking and other things I need a hand on. But hubby and I have our reasons not to get one (for now) as long as we can still manage the house. A number of my friends are working moms who also want to be a WAHM at ... [ Read More ]
