My Favorite Necklace by Istorya

Do you have a piece of jewelry that you love to wear? I have a favorite one now and it was in this box :) Joanna Gutierrez of Istorya makes personalized handmade jewelry. She started making hand-stamped jewelry for personal use and decided to start selling her personal creations. Istorya is the first ever store that sells custom-made, hand-stamped jewelries in the Philippines.  Taken from her FB page, "Each piece of my creation is handcrafted from start to finish. Strike a Pose and Get Wacky in Take Your Pic! Photo Studio Booth

Last Thursday was 2 days before one of our closest family friend will be starting their journey to  greener pastures. And because it will be years before we see each other again, the ladies planned on a meet-up in Alabang Town Center (ATC) to send off our dearest girl friend Cathy.  A late afternoon get-together was perfect for us who had mommy duties and work in the morning. We decided to dine in Cafe France which has a wide choices of food. A must-try is their Seafood Marinara! So over our ... [ Read More ]

An Aerospace Engineer for a Day at Engineering for Kids (Philippines)

When we were kids, we were always asked what we wanted to be when we grow up. And now that we are parents, we ask our children what they want to be when they grow up. My daughter is only 5 years old and when asked of her ambition, she would say she wants to be a doctor because of Doc McStuffins :) Well, that's what almost all kids want to be.  But that changes as time passes by. Children slowly realize what their interests are as they experience different kinds of activities. Our ... [ Read More ]

American Standard Luxe & Style Promo: Win a Lucerne Gift Certificate Worth Php200k

Last July 19, I was one of the lucky bloggers to be invited to American Standard's Luxe & Style Blogger Engagement held in Buona Vita, an Italian restaurant in Molito Complex, Alabang. I've tried dining in Buona Vita before with my hubby's family so the thought of experiencing their food once again made the event more interesting for me. Will be blogging about this resto soon! One of my mommy blogger friends Peachy was also there so warming up with fellow bloggers before the event was ... [ Read More ]

A Visit to St. Rita Orphanage

It has long been one of my dreams to organize an outreach program but unfortunately I don't have the time yet to plan everything. So when my mommy friends Maqui and Leslie announced that were planning a visit an orphanage in the South, I immediately asked to join and so did a few of the South n@wies (of Newlyweds@Work, a mommy/wife online support group). The first orphanage we visited was St. Rita. Orphanage in Sucat, Paranaque City. The orphanage is within the premises of St. Rita ... [ Read More ]

K5 Learning Review

Hi mommies! How's the first two months of your kid's time in school so far? Are they enjoying their stay in their "second home"? :) As expected, my five-year-old daughter is still very much enjoying going to school. She's now in Junior Grade 1 (Prep) which means she will be graduating in pre-school this school year! Yipee! Everyday, she looks forward to participating in their classroom activities and spending time with her classmates. I love it when she's excited to do something of her ... [ Read More ]
