K5 Learning Review

Hi mommies! How's the first two months of your kid's time in school so far? Are they enjoying their stay in their "second home"? :) As expected, my five-year-old daughter is still very much enjoying going to school. She's now in Junior Grade 1 (Prep) which means she will be graduating in pre-school this school year! Yipee! Everyday, she looks forward to participating in their classroom activities and spending time with her classmates. I love it when she's excited to do something of her ... [ Read More ]

ATC Summer Camp 2014 Arts & Crafts Session 2: All About Animals

The second session of ATC's 2014 Summer Camp for Arts and Crafts was all about animals. It started with a short warm up with the kids by singing songs about animals. The young and energetic teachers got the excited kids engaged with the songs which made them look forward more to the projects they will be doing. On that day, there were 4 projects to choose from: 1) Draw Your Own Barn My daughter Kelsea and her cousin Charles chose this first activity. Here, the kids showcased their ... [ Read More ]

Maleficent: Is there such as thing as true love?

Do you believe in fairy tales? Is there such thing as true love? I'm very familiar with the stories of the classic ones like Cinderella, Snow White and Beauty and the Beast except for Sleeping Beauty in which I only have a vague memory of its storyline. I can't even remember the name of the villain queen until now when Disney came up with a live-action film entitled Maleficent featuring Angelina Jolie.  Photo credit So when we watched Heaven is For Real last April and saw the Maleficent ...
