The New Sizes of Plastic Cover

The New Sizes of Plastic Cover

We decided to buy Kelsea's school supplies a few days before school starts to avoid long lines in National Bookstore. But I guess some parents thought of that too. I was looking for plastic cover (the tall and long ones) for her books and notebook but it was nowhere to be seen. It was sold out (at that particular branch) but I saw something better than that. The new sizes of plastic covers.... Move over long plastic covers! I like these better than he long ones which in time bends when left ... [ Read More ]

Kelsea in Nursery

Yesterday was Kelsea's first day of school. I prepared her books and notebooks which I was just able to put name plates and plastic cover the night before (talk about cramming!). It was 10:30 pm when I finished. Still early for me but I need to sleep early. I usually sleep around 3am (sometimes even 4am or 5am) since I work online when the father and daughter are already asleep and wake up around 6:30am-7am to prepare our breakfast. Lucky me when hubby wakes up early and cooks for us so I can ... [ Read More ]

An Affordable and Decent Place to Stay in Tagaytay

A few weeks before my birthday weekend, I was searching for an affordable and decent place to stay overnight in Tagaytay. The reason for this is because of a dear friend's wedding in Tagaytay Midlands. We were supposed to get a family room good for 4 adults and 1 kid. As much as I want to stay in a posh hotel or resort in cool Tagaytay, it won't be worth-it to spend much since we'll be out the whole afternoon until evening. So we decided to settle for a less expensive hotel. We were choosing a ... [ Read More ]

Another Surprise Handicraft Gift

I got a text from JRS Courier asking me if I'm home. He informed me that I have a parcel and should he deliver it to our doorstep or leave it again in the guard house. I have no idea who the parcel came from. I forgot to ask. When he arrived, I saw that it came from my cousin in Bacolod. I wonder what it is. I let Kelsea open it for me and it's something I wanted but didn't expect to have so soon. Here it is.... Surprise Gift It matches the wallet I got a last week in which I blogged about here. ... A 20-Peso Massage

Does your back hurt and want to have a massage but in a tight budget? Then, worry no more! For only 10 pesos, you can be massaged for 3 minutes. Massage chair Three (3) minutes is so bitin so I paid 20 each for me, my dad and my mom for a 6-minute quick relaxation. I saw those kinds of massage chairs in other malls but these particular ones in Robinson's Place Ermita look more comfy and new. I love how it squeezes the legs :) So if you want to spend time doing something but feeling relaxed ... [ Read More ]

An Early Birthday Gift from Bacolod

Guess what's in our mail today? In a few days, I'll be another year wiser. It was a package from my dearest thoughtful cousin Manang Shel in Bacolod. (Note: Manang is a Visayan term for 'ate' in Tagalog or 'older sister' in English). I knew at once it's because of my special day. Here's what's inside that package: Birthday Card  It is a hand-made birthday card with a cute heart embellishment in front. The card is made from recycled paper. And inside that card are birthday greetings from my ... [ Read More ]
