The Bestfriend

Kelsea got a surprise pasalubong from Lola Elsa (my dad's sister) who's in Bacolod a few months ago. This is what she got... The Bestfriend  I told Kelsea to give her new doll a name. She can't think of any at that moment so I checked the box if the doll has a name. Guess what it is.... The doll named Erin. It's Erin! What a coincidence! Kelsea's bestfriend is Erin :) Happy with her doll BFF Kelsea refers to Erin as he sister. When ever we buy her something for her, she wants the same ... [ Read More ]

Our Favorite Breakfast Drinks

Breakfast isn't complete without the perfect drink! Here are our favorite and usual drinks (aside from water)....I love Cranberry juice. I usually buy Healthy Balance's Apple Cranberry but I recently discovered this new drink from Tipco. It's a mixed fruit juice containing cranberry (15%), apple (30%) and grape (54.99%) juice concentrate and the remaining 1% for Vitamins A and E. This juice really tastes good! Tipco and Kelsea There are lots of variants of juices from Tipco. They're made of ... [ Read More ]

Attachment to Violet

You're probably wondering who is Violet. My friend Faye's daughter Maia loves her Georgie, Baby Bop has her yellow blankie while Kelsea has her fave dear teddy we named Violet. Where did Violet came from? Violet is actually mine :) It was given to me when I was still preggy by a former well-loved lady boss as a pasalubong from Dad's Restaurant. I think it comes with their drink if you buy one. Photo credit: Studio 2716 Kelsea brings her everywhere she goes. She even keeps Violet inside her ... [ Read More ]

Imagination and Colors

Kelsea loves to doodle. She draws lines, waves, shapes or anything abstract to me but makes sense to her. During our artwork time today, she used pentel pen and crayons. Here is what she did: Can you guess what she has drawn? It's her best friend Erin's 3-storey house (with one window) daw on the left. Their car (with a green side mirror) on the right. The lines colored in blue in front of the house are the stairs. The yellow irregular shape above is the moon while the red bag are cookies for ... [ Read More ]

Family Day at Sta. Elena Fun Farm

What to do on a holiday? Skip the usual trip to the mall and being lazy at home! Bring the kids outdoors and have fun with nature. Just like what me and my n@w sisters Faye, Maqui and Rachel, together with our families, did last National Heroes' Day. We went to Sta. Elena Fun Farm in Cabuyao, Laguna. We took the Cabuyao exit (I read somewhere that there's also a way from Sta. Rosa), turned right and after around 500m is the entrance of the Sta. Elena property. It is said to be owned by the ... [ Read More ]

First School Presentation

First School Presentation

Last week, there was a note in Kelsea's diary that the school's Bible Month Culminating Day is on Aug 30. I didn't know what kind of celebration it will be and didn't know who will be participating so I didn't mind that reminder. Then yesterday, there was a new note (which I was only able to read around 6:30pm since I attended a seminar) that the Nursery and Kinder class must arrive in school at 12:30pm on that day and must be in formal dress for the girls while long sleeves with tie and slacks ... Art Attack: Paper Clay Art

Art Attack: Paper Clay Art

Kelsea missed going to school during those days a few weeks ago when classes were suspended due to heavy rains and areas affected by the flood. So to keep her busy, it was art attack time! I bought her a Paper Clay art kit from National Bookstore for only Php100. Paper Clay Art kit I knew about this kit even before I was married because I did one myself. Mine was a butterfly and it's still in my room in my parents' house. Kelsea's fish paper clay kit includes 4 colors of paper clay, 2 bamboo ... [ Read More ]
