The Mommy Bloggers’ Sunday Meet-Up
My special friends Maqui, Faye and Rache, who are my sisters in an online sisterhood group, have been bloggers for a longer time than me. They already know other mommy bloggers so when they planned on a meet-up, they included me in the loop. I was excited to meet the mommies behind the blogs I follow. The get together was scheduled on a Sunday so we can all bring our families. And the best place for a meet-up especially when tagging along kids is at the park. We all went to Ayala Triangle Gardens ... [ Read More ]
Handmade with Love from The Wagon Shop
I love joining blog giveaways just as long as I'm a fan of the blog and I like the items to be given away. Just recently, I joined a fellow mommy blogger Pepper's (of A Days in a Wagon) giveaway from her newly relaunched online shop, The Wagon Shop. I met Pepper, together with other mommy bloggers, a few weeks ago (blog post about this is still in my drafts folder). She's a beautiful mestiza with a pretty daughter. Little did I know that she's also creative. To give support to each others blog ... [ Read More ]
Maddie and Matt’s Safe World
Moms, do think our kids are safe in this world of ours? Or to be more exact - in our own homes or neighborhood? Our kid's safety is one of our top priorities and it would be more ideal to teach them safety measures in this crazy world. But how do we teach them? Playing games like this can be fun and educational :) Numerous mishaps happen ... [ Read More ]
Hong Kong, Here We Come!
It was my childhood dream to go to Disneyland. And this dream became a reality last October 31 to November 3, 2012 when my whole family (Mark, Kelsea and I together with my parents, sister, nephew and aunt) went to Hong Kong. That's three senior citizens, two pre-schoolers and three adults in their 30s :) I booked our flight three months before our chosen date. We particularly chose those dates because the kids had no school, adults had no office work and it was a long weekend. The most ... [ Read More ]
HK Day 4 – Tsim Sha Tsui and Back Home
It was our last day in Hong Kong. We got an afternoon flight going back to Manila so we decided to go to Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) to go look at the shops (and do a little shopping). Upon exiting the TST MTR station, we walked along the famous Nathan Road. There were so many kinds of shops in this road and also hostels like the also famous notorious Chungking Mansions. One of the shops we frequent to in Hong Kong is Giordano since it's way cheaper there than in Manila. My mom, dad and ... [ Read More ]
HK Day 3 – Tao Heung, Star Ferry, The Peak
Our third day in Hong Kong was Kelsea's 4th Birthday :) This trip was our birthday gift for her. During our Disneyland trip part 1 and part 2 on our second day, I bought Disney souvenirs before we left the park as additional birthday gifts. But it was a secret so she would be surprised. So when she woke up on her special day, I gave her the goodies from Disney. Happy 4th Birthday Kelsea! Toy Story and Brave are her favorite movies. So I bought a Toy Story tumbler with ...
