TOMORROWLAND After strolling around Grizzly Gulch area, we went to the spacious area just in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle to have our pics taken. HK Day 2 – Disneyland (Part 1)
Warning: This post is photo-heavy but kid-friendly :) Since I was a kid, I've always dreamed of going to Disneyland. When my mom, sister and I went to the US last 2006, we didn't have the chance to go to Disneyland. Now I know the reason why. God planned for me to go to there with my daughter and hubby and the rest of the our Hong Kong trip entourage :) The main reason for visiting the home of Mickey and Minnie Mouse is to celebrate Kelsea's 4th birthday. I wanted it to be memorable for ... [ Read More ]
HK Day 1 – HKIA, Yau Ma Tei, Temple Street & Mongkok Night Market
The flight from Manila to Hong Kong (HK) took about 2 hours. We were supposed to arrive in HK around 7:30am but our Cebu Pacific flight was delayed for 2 hours so we landed in HKIA around 9:30am. Kelsea was well-behaved all throughout the flight. I prepared reading and activity materials for her to keep her busy. ARRIVAL AT THE HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (HKIA) It was Mark and Kelsea's first time in HK while it's my second after 8 years. Not-so-great family picture in HK ... [ Read More ]

Where To Stay in Hong Kong
As I have mentioned in my previous post, we are a family with a tight budget but with a goal to go together and have fun in Hong Kong (HK). So booking in well-known hotels was a no-no for us (maybe next time!). The most recommended place is stay in HK is in Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) according to PEX or somewhere very near an MTR station. Most Hong Kong travelers stay on places near the MTR Tsuen Wan Line or MTR Island Line. Source: hong-kong-travel.org Our options on where to ... [ Read More ]
Flying To Hong Kong Via Cebu Pacific
I was the one assigned (or more of appointed myself) to take care of our travel needs. First on the list was to book our flight to Hong Kong. Philippines Airlines (PAL) and international airlines were out of my list due to our tight budget. My choices were trimmed down to three options: Cebu Pacific, Air Asia and Tiger Airways. So I watched out for their airline promo fares. I compared the three airlines. Cebu Pacific is more expensive than Air Asia and Tiger Airways. But the latter airlines ... [ Read More ]
Asilo Tagaytay: Your Vacation Home
Tagaytay is the nearest destination for someone who wants to relax, feel the cool breeze of the wind, dine in restaurants especially those serving the famous bulalo and see the Taal Volcano. It is one of the tourist destinations here in the Philippines. You can easily invite your family and friends to go to Tagaytay because it is only 1.5 hrs from Makati via South Luzon Expressway (SLEX). From our home in Bacoor, Cavite, it only takes us 45 minutes via Aguinaldo Highway. My shot of the Taal ... [ Read More ]
