6th Blog Anniversary Giveaway

May 23, 2016 By: Erlaine46 Comments

Hello dear family and friends! This giveaway was supposed to run last month which is my blog anniversary but I got really busy the past fews weeks. Sorry! But, there’s nothing to be sad about because I am launching this giveaway now before the month ends since May is my birth month  🙂 Yipee!!!!

Are you excited to know the prizes at stake? 🙂

Blog Giveaway

This giveaway is open to Philippine-residents only. Here are the giveaways from my sponsors and yours truly:

  1. Who loves organic products? These first two (2) giveaways are from the online shop of Smart Chinoy Philippines. This is owned by my high school batchmates who happens to be beautiful twins 🙂 They are an authorized online distributor of Human Nature and Indigo Baby products which are highly-recommended organic products. I love their products and currently using them too.

2. Next is from Koofty Enterprise Inc., the Philippine distributor of Euky Bear products. Euky Bear, a trusted health brand in Australia, has been providing all-natural products for almost 40 years. They are giving away 3 packs of Euky Bear products.

3. We love Mother Nature that’s why G Project Manila came up with G-Wraps which are our next giveaway. Four (4) winners will get one (1) set of G-Wraps which are reusable food wraps in different sizes. Say goodbye to plastic and use these non-toxic and earth-friendly products. These are perfect for wrapping baked goodies, sandwiches, veggies, fruits and other snacks.

4. One of the things that I’m in love nowadays is Calligraphy. That’s why our next giveaway is from my college friend Leslie of Neonovelties, a graphic design and printing company known for making invitations, brochures, IDs and anything else that can be designed and printed. And because Leslie is also into Calligraphy (she’ll be having a workshop soon so watch out for the details on my next posts), we’re giving away a Calligraphy work done by no less than Leslie herself to be given to one winner. It can be your favorite quote, your name or anything you want to be written beautifully thru Calligraphy.

Giveaway 10

5. The next giveaway is related to the previous one. Since I am currently practicing my Calligraphy and learning from friends who are really so good in it, I’m giving away a Basic Calligraphy Kit prepared by my friend Dheng. Let’s learn this together!

Giveaway 11

6. And last but definitely not the least, a much-needed relaxing vacation in Tagaytay is up for grabs for the 12th winner. Check out this Brand New 1-BR Tagaytay Unit with WiFi in AirBnb. My family already tried spending a night in this very affordable place and we really had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Know more about our experience in this place in one of my next posts.

    Thanks for the giveaway sis,

I didn’t get to enjoy this summer due to complicated schedules at my husband’s work.
I enjoyed the weekends with my son. Setting up an inflated pool at home was the best
way to beat the summer heat without the beach.

Happy Anniversary! The best summer getaway we had for this year was in Potipot Island! My brother-in-law made this trip for real as I have been dreaming of a beach trip that will also be a camping trip for my family. Potipot is not yet commercialized compared to Boracay and other islands that has white sand. There are no inns or hotels available on the island. Cottages are for rent but they easily get fully booked during weekends. You may bring your own tent so you can have the flexibility where to camp. There are a lot of good camping spots in Potipot. You can camp near where the boats dock but there might be a crowd. If you like a peaceful, less crowded spot, camp on the opposite side of the island facing the West Philippine Sea.

It was never an easy trip with two toddlers in tow, 1 preschooler and an incoming grade two who would ask all the why’s and how’s in the world. I am thankful for my husband’s family for making this trip come true as I have wanted a trip like this for my children. I want them to experience what is real life all about. I know my children have thankful hearts but knowing is NOT enough, they must experience what simplicity in life meant.

Its a learning moment for my 4Ms! They get to discover how to take a bath without wasting water by demonstrating it to them. They get to sleep on a sleeping mat without a pillow nor an electric fan. It was hard as they were waking up in the middle of the night – either they drink water or they need me to fan for them.

The precious memories – they enjoyed a lot of the roasting of marshmallows and hotdogs on a bonfire, the “chewy” cookies and crinkles of my sister-in-law, the starfish and school of fishes, the shells and sand we collected, the boat ride that everytime they see the photos they go crazy in telling the stories of how they felt about it and most of all… when we arrived in the house, my eldest told me “Mom, thank God we’re home! God is good we have lights and water is easy for us now!”.

**** In the morning, he told me again “Mom, I prayed for kids in the Philippines who doesn’t have water and electricity” (He was doing the map of the Philippines puzzle). I was in awe of how he is shaped by God.

By the way, I have four kids – 2 boys and 2 girls. I call them 4Ms, their ages are 6, 3, 2 and 1 so we rarely go on vacations. We are also a homeschooling family that commutes – we use public transpo all the time.

    Sincerely,
    Bernice Garcia

My summer gateway last summer is we went to the beautiful island of Siquijor with my hubby and our cousins. We enjoyed so much. The people also there are very hospitable at ang food nila napaka sarap. Kahit maliit laman ang isla ng Siquijor pero napaka laki at napaka yaman nila sa mga natural resources.

What’s the best summer activity you had this 2016?

Probably the swimming reunions and bonding I had first with my co-parents and classmates of my daughter last March at Los Banos.
Second, 7th birthday celebration of my daughter at Bosay with the family last April. Third, last May 2 in a private pool at Antipolo with family.

Happy anniversary!!! 😊 So far, the best summer activity we’ve had this year was our family trip to Manila Ocean Park. Our 20-month old showed a lot of interest in the animals and it seems like he really enjoyed himself. He was very attentive and even until now, more than a few weeks have passed, but he’s still asking to look at the photos of the animals we saw there.

But we’re really looking forward to our trip to Cebu this coming July since it will be his first time at the beach. Talk about an extended summer vacation! 😝

We went on a trip to Baguio, La Union and Gabaldon. Swimming, Picnic, Wedding feast, malling and many activities with them.
