Sakura Gran Resort: Private Pool in Pansol Laguna

Are you looking for a private pool that you can rent for your summer outing with family and friends? I’ll share with you a private resort in Pansol, Laguna that we rented last summer 2015.

Sakura Gran Resort, owned by the family of a friend, is a beautiful private pool to hold summer activities which opened last 2015. The house is big and can accommodate a large group. Located inside an exclusive subdivision, the resort is Japanese-inspired hence the modern zen minimalist look of its facade and interiors.

It has a 2-car garage and you can still park in front of the house. Upon entering, you’ll see this door that will welcome you to its wide living room and powder room. Family and friends can gather here to watch cable TV.

Climbing a few steps from the living room, you’ll be led to the dining room which has a big square dining table that can sit 12pax. This floor is also where the clean kitchen is. This is where you can cook and prepare food. Few plates, cups and utensils are available. But just to be sure, we brought our own disposable ones. They have a water dispenser so there will be no problem if you need hot water for coffee. The first 5-gallon is free then you can buy your next one from them for a minimal cost.

This is also where we can sing our hearts out using their videoke machine which is included in the package.

From the living room, stairs will lead you to the 2nd floor where two large bedrooms are. Each bedroom has 3 double deck beds (upper part is single while lower is double).

Each room also has its own clean toilet and bath.

By the way, are all using split-type airconditioning in the living room, dining room and bedrooms.

From the dining room, you can go out through the glass sliding doors and hang-out in these tables and chairs 🙂 They also have a griller.

We love their swimming pools. The left side pool in the photo below is for kids while the one on the right is for the adults. Note that water here is warm since Pansol is known for hotsprings.

Since we planned to stay overnight, we got the 22-hr rate. Note that a private pool in Pansol usually has options in either getting their 12-hr or 22-hr rate. We arrived around 9am. We didn’t swim at once because of the heat of the sun so our morning was spent inside the house singing and catching up with friends. I’m not sure if they already put net as shade for the pools.

Around 3:30pm, we already allowed the kids to swim since they were very excited. The owners recommended not to fill up the kiddie pool to accommodate the younger kids. See photo below.

All of us enjoyed the pool in the afternoon with grilled food and refreshing drinks on the side.

For hubby and I, the best time to swim in Pansol is during night time 🙂 This is how it looks at night.
