Cupcakes, Storytelling and Food Trucks

April 16, 2014 By: Erlainecomment

Do you agree that weekends are exclusively for the family? Where and how do you usually spend your Sundays with your family?

Last Sunday, aside from our regular schedule of Kelsea’s art class and Sunday mass (it was a Palm Sunday), we met up with some of my South n@wie friends who are craving for cupcakes at the Vanilla Cupcake Bakery in Alabang Town Center after I posted in Instagram. We love the ambiance most epecially their lovely chairs and dainty interiors.

Here’s the cupcake I got. It’s called Vahlrona Mint Chip. It tastes ok since I love mint but I hope it could be a little more moist.

While the mommies are chatting and the daddies are enjoying their coffee and iced teas and tinkering their gadgets, the kids were enjoying themselves and were feeling at home.

It was just a quick meet-up with some chitchat for only about an hour or less (we were a little late) because we still need to go to Fully Booked for the storytelling.

The storytelling lasted for only about 30 minutes which gave us time to walk to the church to attend mass. After mass, we decided to have dinner with hubby’s family so Kelsea can enjoy playing with her adorable cousin Jaime whom she misses so much.

Above photo was taken in the area where the Food Trucks in Filinvest are. For an average of Php150 per meal, you get to fill in your tummies by food tripping and enjoy the fresh air while dining.

What a long day for us. But it was a fun Sunday for my family most especially for Kelsea 🙂
