A few months before 2012 ended, Multiply sent a series of emails about their migration from a personal blog site into a full marketplace. I have two online shops in Multiply, Shopping Spells and Glamma Momma. At first, they told us merchants to switch from using the photos album and change them into the products category to be able to use the shopping cart. Merchants were also told to back up pictures because of the new system they will be doing. All along I thought that was just it. What I didn’t realized was they will be changing a lot.

I got surprised when I checked them a while ago (it has been a few weeks since I didn’t check them)….
A lot of product photos disappeared and even the theme design was gone 🙁 I’m sad (or more on dismayed) since I paid for the designs of my online shop. I’m not yet sure if we can still use the codes for this new Multiply.
Have you also noticed the encircled price of the shirt I’m selling? It’s worth Php10M. I wonder how they did that. Nobody would buy a shirt that expensive.
There are a lot to fix and this is very time consuming. I have yet to check what features were removed and what’s new. I just hope this new Multiply will bring in more sales for the merchants and more convenient shopping for the buyers.
hi glamma momma, does it mean that all my photos in multiply are now gone? 🙁 i have a multiply account, its my online blog when i was still in high school. and some of my treasured photos are in there, is it still possible for me to recover it? 🙁
Hi Elai! Yes, I think all photos in the photo albums are all gone. That’s why they reminded account holders to back up/transfer photos to other channels they recommended. But maybe you can send an email to them and ask if it’s still possible to recover them. There email is csph@multiply.com.

They kept on sending it I think 4th quarter of 2012.
OMG! I was then realized multiply changes everything.. I havent receive any emails from them. All my pictures are gone now. Any suggestion that we can retrieved the pictures? Also I have tried logging in and it says I dont have an account with my corresponding email or username.. 🙁
I think there’s no way to retrieve them anymore since they are also closing in May 🙁
