4 Reasons Why You Should Bring Your Family To Ayala Triangle

October 20, 2012 By: Erlaine2 Comments

Last Sunday, a few of my college block mates and I (with families) had a mini reunion. We decided to have lunch in Kanin Club in Ayala Triangle. Sunday is the recommended day to go here since there’s no work from most of the offices surrounding the park. If you’re going to have lunch there during weekdays, be sure to arrive early or else you’ll surely wait to be seated especially in known restaurants.

Here are reasons why you should bring your family (especially your kids) here:

1. Variety of Restaurants

There are lots to choose from depending on your taste buds.

Amici – pizzas and pastas
Banapple – yummy cakes and pies plus big serving rice meals and pastas
BFAST by Chef Laudico – haven’t tried here yet
Bon Chon Chicken – tasty chicken
Caramia Gelateria – gelato and gelato cakes
Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf – coffee, pastries, salads, pasta
Golden Spoon – ice cream and yoghurt
Kanin Club – filipino cuisine (Their Kare-Kare and Crispy Dinuguan are must-try foods)
Momo Cafe – haven’t tried here yet
Omakase – best Japanese resto for me
Pho 24 – haven’t tried here yet
Wee Nam Kee – love the Hainanese chicken here

2. Public Art

Works of art like this pay homage to National Artists.

3. Lots of greens and open space

You can stroll around, take pictures, play ball and basketball, ride your bicycle, jog or just run around and have fun. Pets are also welcome here.

Since we brought along the kids, we brought bubbles, mat, coloring books and lots of extra shirts 🙂 Kelsea and Kyle met new friends as well. They had a quick play of tag.

4. Christmas Lights Show

Every Christmas season, the lights you can see at the picture below are lit up at night and bring oooohs and aaaahs to the people of Makati. I haven’t seen it yet though.

If you’re you’re bringing along a car, you can park at the basement parking of Tower One along Paseo de Roxas or at the open parking space along Makati Avenue.

We will definitely go back here! 🙂
