I was raised by my parents to be God-fearing and encouraged to be a true Catholic. That means attending mass every Sunday. When we were kids, my sister and I tag along with them to their charismatic community. Every Sunday, we hear mass then participate in a gathering after that. Kids were invited to join the Children's Formation, Young Adults for the teens and another group (I forgot what it was called) for college students. That will allow community member's kids to mingle and build lasting ... [ Read More ]

What’s In Your Coffee?
I'm not much of a coffee drinker. I just take sips from hubby's coffee then go back to my ice blended drink. Our favorite coffee shop is Seattle's Best. I usually get a Javanilla while a Cafe Mocha with a chocolate stick is for him. But when he's feeling a little sleepy, a shot of espresso is requested to be added. Next in line is Starbucks where he still gets a Cafe Mocha while me a Javachip. Before, my all-time favorite was Starbucks' Rhumba. I miss that frapuccino. I wish they'll have it back ... Krispy Kreme in the South
Bye bye GoNuts and hello Krispy Kreme!GoNuts Donuts already closed it's store located at Westgate, Filinvest, Alabang. We were a bit sad because it was one of the take-out goodies we rely on for food sharing in parties/events. I think the only one left in Alabang area, is their stall in Shopwise in Festival Mall. While the other one still in the South is in SM Southmall. Are they already losing profit? Too bad they just introduced last year (I'm not sure) their ice cream which was the original ... Boracay in August – Day 1
Side Story.... It was summer in 2005 when Mark and I last went to Boracay. Our budget was only P10k each wherein P6k went to the Asian Spirit (now Zest Air) plane ticket. Airline promos were not yet an "in" thing those days. So that left us P4k each for our 3D/2N accomodation and food. We stayed in a budget resort Orchids Resort in Station 3 which was recommended by The Lonely Planet for backpackers (we brought only one big camping backpack we borrowed from my SIL). We chose to stay in a fan ... [ Read More ]
Road to Becoming A Work-At-Home Mom
For the past 6 months, I have been working my way on a career as a home-based working mom. This has been one of my sidelines since I'm still working in my husband's family business. But as all things change, Kelsea will soon be studying (that's next school year) so we are already preparing what our set-up will be. It is our choice from the start not to get a nanny for Kelsea as long as we can still handle taking care of her. This has been very challenging since we are also maintaining our home. ... An 11-year-old’s Artwork
I was really amazed when I saw my 11-year-old cousin Trinity Anne's artwork. But I was not surprised because it definitely runs in her blood. Her mom, who's my aunt, is a graduate of Interior Design. On the other hand, her dad is a very talented graphic artist in an advertising agency. I even saw before one of his works which is a Filipino comics featuring tribal characters. He also makes TV commercials and into photography. Can be a stylist! Tintin, as what we call her, loves sketching. ... [ Read More ]
