Artisan Pizza at Project Pie

April 15, 2014 By: Erlainecomment

Mark and I are certified pizza lovers. So when a new pizza place opened in Westgate, Filinvest, Alabang, we wanted to try it at once. Project Pie is the first franchise outside their original restaurant in the United States. The franchise holder of Project Pie in the Philippines is the Prieto Family who also owns the Philippine franchise of Shakey’s restaurants (source). It is one-of-a-kind because you can customize your own pizza. Their slogan is “Everyday artisan pizza custom built by you”.

Here’s what you’ll expect in Project Pie. Be prepared and be patient in waiting in line. Bring along a someone to keep you company especially during rush hours because sometimes takes 30mins before you can place you order.

You can order your pizza by number or by toppings. Numbers 2 to 7 and build-your-own pizzas are all Php 285 each.

Tell your order to the staff who are all very fluent in English with a twang. He or she prepares your pizza dough.

Then, you’ll be asked to choose your desired pizza sauce (red or white).

Next, choose your all-time favorite cheese. Mine is mozzarella.

And lastly, choose the toppings you want. If you ordered by number, you can still add more of your chosen toppings. Add lots para sulit!

They also have dessert pizzas and salads.

While waiting for your pizza, choose your refreshments. They have bottled water, sparkling water, soda, China Mist Iced Tea (I didn’t like this), domestic beer, imported beer, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

The sodas and iced tea are refillable up to 2 times.

Your name will be called and you can now claim your pizza.

Here’s what we got during our first visit. We ordered by number but we didn’t add more toppings 🙁 Di namin nasulit. But nakabawi kami during our next one.

#3 Tomato, Artichoke, Red Onion, Pesto, Feta, Mozzarella

#2 Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Crumbled Meatballs, Mozzarella, Project Pie’s Signature Red Sauce, Garlic

#6 Grilled Chicken, Sliced Red Onion, Cilantro, Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, BBQ Sauce
