Hello dear readers! Maybe you’re all wondering why I haven’t blogged lately. Miss it much! I have been very busy with my online work so my free time is usually spent with my daughter and hubby. I’ve been trying my best to squeeze in a post even once a week. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do so until now 🙂
One of the reasons why my blog is currently parked is also because I had it migrated to WordPress but it is still under maintenance mode that’s why this is still in Blogger. There’s still a lot to do like making the categories, menus, choosing the theme, plug-ins, etc.
Speaking of blog theme, do you like my current blog theme? I still love it but it will be gone when I’ll transfer to WordPress unless I have it installed again but for a fee.
Who wouldn’t love a blog designed by Fancy Girl Design? I have been a loyal client of hers. My two online shops in Multiply were designed by her but now gone thanks to Multiply’s shutdown 🙁 So I’ve been thinking of getting her services again for my new home in WordPress. Actually, I’m more of saving up for it 🙂
So while i’m filling up my piggy bank and doing some techie stuff on my WordPress dashboard, I also kept on searching for new blogs to follow (or stalk lol!). I came across Sweet Memoirs.
It was not just an ordinary blog but one for a good cause. You can read about it here. And while browsing this “angel’s” blog, I got more excited because she was having a blog giveaway….a blog design makeover voucher worth SGD200 from none other than Fancy Girl Design!!!! I want to WIN (crossing my finger and toes lol)!!!!!!!
A blog makeover would be a great Christmas gift for me. As I’ve said, I love the current design of my blog but I could love it more with a few more tweaks and features 🙂
Here’s what I would love to have in my blog:
1. Be mobile responsive. I don’t want me and my readers to have a hard time reading from their smart phones.
2. Pretty embellishments (title icons/graphics) would also be a must to keep my readers glued on their screens.
3. Who’s not into Facebook, Twitter and Instagram nowadays? I would love to have these social media icons on my blog to reach out to more readers.
4. A badge that I can share with other sites or exchange with my fellow mommy bloggers.
5. A custom watermark for all the photos I will share.
5. My post signature!
That’s my dream blog makeover! There’s no harm in dreaming of something we want to achieve 🙂 Wish me luck!
