Attachment to Violet

September 26, 2012 By: Erlainecomment

You’re probably wondering who is Violet. My friend Faye‘s daughter Maia loves her Georgie, Baby Bop has her yellow blankie while Kelsea has her fave dear teddy we named Violet. Where did Violet came from? Violet is actually mine 🙂 It was given to me when I was still preggy by a former well-loved lady boss as a pasalubong from Dad’s Restaurant. I think it comes with their drink if you buy one.

Kelsea brings her everywhere she goes. She even keeps Violet inside her school bag even though she will only be able to hold her after class. She has so many dolls like rag dolls, Barbie dolls and even Baby Alive but her heart only goes to Violet. She treats it like her baby.

Kelsea: “Violet might feel cold”.

Our daughter is not fond of having her pics taken lately but wants her Violet to be in the limelight.

She can’t sleep without Violet and cries really hard when left in the grandparents house. This cute teddy must always be by her side especially when drinking milk because she loves touching the tail.

Poor tail!

I was hesitant before in letting her be too attached to Violet because there might be one day that it might get lost and it will really break her heart. But I’ve come to realize that it is somewhat showing us how she gives love to something important to her.

Does your kid has some attachment to one of his/her things? Looking forward to other mom’s story on this kind of attachment 🙂
