When you travel from Las Pinas or Muntinlupa to Cavite using Daanghari Rd., the well-known establishments you’ll only see are Seaside (Dampa), King Bee Restaurant, and 3 gas stations (Caltex, Shell and Petron). An additional to these landmarks is McDonald’s Daang-Hari or better know as McDonald’s Pontevia. It is exactly located in front of Petron and near Fernbrook Gardens, a popular wedding venue. People from San Pedro, Laguna can also enjoy food from this fast food by using Daang Reyna Rd. As far as I know, the piece of land where it stands is owned by Manny Villar (along with lots of his subdivisions).

Upon knowing from banners that it’ll open today, we set a family date to have dinner there. So off we went to McDo. Excited ba? LOL! Just a little 😛

Well, based from the no. of people we saw that time we were there, I’m sure we were not only the 98th customer. But I came to realized that they only give that number on one lane of the ordering station which is the….Senior Citizen or PWD lane. LOL! I didn’t notice it though since young ones were on the same line.

If you brought a flyer advertising their opening date, you get to win a free McDonald’s keychain. Here’s a checklist what this branch have and don’t have:
Drive Thru – YES!
Delivery – NO! (Too bad for this)
McCafe – YES!
Ample parking – YES and NO! Since they’re the only establishment in that area, there are lots of parking spaces.
PLAYPLACE – NO! (I was expecting that they have a play place where kids can hang-out. I even let Kelsea wore leggings so she can slide and go inside the tubes in case there is one)
Wi-Fi – YES! (Mark tried it but got only a low signal/slow connection)
Open 24 HRS – YES! (Yipee!)
We’re expecting that this branch will also be a hang-out of cyclists every weekends. McDonald’s Pontevia will definitely be one of our usual pitstop, either on our way home or off somewhere 🙂
